Waterfront Cottage 5: Nature Abounds!

We stayed during March Break. Even though we arrived the day after Snowmageddon, our hosts made sure the driveway was clear of snow and even snowblowed a path to the firepit for us. Very friendly - our host stood in the driveway and had a couple chats with us and even made friends with our dogs. We loved that it was dog friendly so our beasts were able to enjoy a family getaway with us. The cabin was very clean and my wife was even able to shower in the bathroom (she's got a thing with using other people's showers) which says something! There has been more than one hotel where she walks in and says "well, I guess I'm not showering", so kudos! It was really nice to get away somewhere that isn't just a hotel room with two beds. We were able to sit at the table and have real meals and play games just like at home. There was a TV with different streaming apps which was nice for when it was bedtime and everybody just wanted to relax. We had no issues at all and would definitely return. Too bad we can't say the same for the lakes we tried to fish on - they were a little more disappointing - not one fish came home with us!
